The Study Programme offers support to young people aged 16-18 who are not in education, employment or training.
The Study Programme is delivered at three Skills Training UK centres across West London - in Wembley, Hounslow and Ealing. The centres are not like school or college and you can join at any time.
Tutors provide 1-2-1 support and guidance to help you develop the skills and confidence to progress onto a job, Traineeship, Apprenticeship or further education. They will work closely with you to discover your strengths and help you find a career path that’s right for you.
As well as developing skills and confidence in areas such as job searching, CV writing and interview practice, you will also work towards Level 1 and Level 2 (equivalent to GCSE grade C) qualifications in key subjects like Maths and English.
You will also have the chance to meet local employers and gain work experience to help prepare you for work.
Skills Training UK also works with local partners, for example in housing and health, to help each young person on the Study Programme address any personal issues or barriers to learning that they may face.
Young people can join our programmes at any time, and we partner with local schools and agencies to help identify individuals who we can support and help to progress.
