May 19th, 2017

On Wednesday 7th June at Wolverhampton Science Park Skills Training UK will be hosting the first in a series of free events to inform and guide employers through the new apprenticeship and funding reforms. The free event runs from 10.00am – 1.00pm including lunch and places must be booked by registering on the Eventbrite page.

All the financial questions which employers may have will be answered as Skills Training UK’s Skills Director, Stephen Crawley, explains the incentives available for apprenticeship funding, how the Levy works for large employers, what happens for SMEs (non-levy payers) and how payments are managed if your business fluctuates between Levy/non-Levy.

The key differences, features and benefits of the new Apprenticeship Standards – developed by employers, for employers, will be presented, to show employers how they can use the new apprenticeships to upskill, recruit and develop employees of all ages.

Chief Executive of Skills Training UK, Martin Dunford OBE, who will be introducing the event, said: “This is an opportunity for employers and senior decision makers from all sizes of private and public sector organisations to find out about the Apprenticeship and funding reforms and how they can best use them to develop their employees. As one of the leading independent Apprenticeships providers, we are ideally placed to share our knowledge and expertise and we look forward to welcoming new employers as well as some of our current employer partners.”

‘Apprenticeship and Funding Reforms. Your Questions Answered.’ will take place in the Technology Centre at Wolverhampton Science Park, Glaisher Drive WV10 9RU on 7th June from 10am – 1pm.
